Level 8 $36.60 per/hr @ 27.5 hours per week (flexible)
Responsible for corrective maintenance measures, new & renovated installations and preventive maintenance of all electrical systems. Will assist all trades within the Consolidated Facilities Department to provide quality and time efficient corrective maintenance in an orderly fashion and all other related work, as required. Plans, repairs and installs all new wiring, fixtures, and safety control equipment as needed. Repairs and installs new and existing fire alann equipment as needed; replaces fixtures, motors, ballasts, pumps, and receptacle switches as needed. Recommends to supervisors any repairs that need to be handled by outside contractors and will assist departments in coordination of their work. Responds to emergencies, which may include nights, weekends and holidays. Should have an expertise with electrical circuits, transformers, fuses, motors, relays, magnetic starters, switches, grounds, shorts, faults, voltmeters, and other test equipment.
