Custodian/Facilities Technician
Full-time
The Town of Lunenburg seeks qualified applicants for the full-time position of Custodian/Facilities
Technician.
Working under the direction of the Facilities Superintendent, this position provides general maintenance,
in connection with the care and upkeep of municipal buildings; all other related work as required. The
Custodian is responsible for maintaining and improving upon the efficiency and effectiveness of all areas
under their direction and control. The Custodian is expected to work during winter storms including
snow, ice, sleet, hail, freezing rain, etc. and assist with removal of snow and ice using Town equipment.
May requiring lifting or pushing objects up to 100 pounds.
High school diploma or equivalent; 3 years’ experience in construction and/or building maintenance
work. Or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience so as to demonstrate
possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform work. Must have a valid Class D
motor vehicle operator’s license. Full job description available on the Town website.
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, benefited position. Pay Range: $20.1383/hr.-$25.1499/hr. Please
