Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School  –  Manager of Farm and Grounds

Minimum 5 years of management experience at a livestock and crop farm
Experience in the day-to-day management of all livestock, horses, and small animals
Knowledge of plant, soil, and animal science
Knowledge of methods, materials, and practices in landscaping and field management, including
proper use and care of heavy equipment and farm machinery; superior mechanical skills
Demonstrated leadership ability and management skills
Massachusetts Hoisting Engineer License, Class B Commercial Driver’s License, and
Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources Applicator License
Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Able to manage and navigate the computer-based maintenance system
Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills
