KeymasterOperations Manager
The Cape Cod Collaborative is seeking an Operations Manager. The ideal candidate for this full-time,
year round position will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering or a related field. Prior
supervisory and/or management experience required. Knowledge of OSHA regulations required.
Experience in a school setting is preferred. Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
Essential functions:
In coordination with the administrative team (Executive Director, Business Manager, Transportation
Manager and Director of Special Programs):
To plan, organize, schedule and participate in the maintenance and operations of the Cape
Cod Collaborative transportation fleet (currently approximately 170 vehicles);
To plan, organize, direct, schedule and participate in the maintenance and operations of Cape
Cod Collaborative facilities including custodial, maintenance and security operations; and
To provide oversight to a wide variety of skilled and unskilled maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering or related field,
Minimum of five years of experience,
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and other related codes pertaining to schools, student
transport and public buildings,
Knowledge of Mass General Laws related to procurement, construction, repair and
maintenance of public buildings and student transport vehicles (MCPPO certification
preferred),
Proficient in the use of technology and software applications, including but not limited to
email, word processing, spreadsheets and database operations,
Valid Class D Mass driver’s license (ability to obtain CDL class B with school bus endorsement
preferred),
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors,
Ability to engage in physical aspects of positions, which include but are not limited to climbing
stairs and ladders, operating tools or controls.
