Facilities & Transportation Department/Project Manager

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 based upon qualifications and experienceDescription: Reporting to the Director of School Operations, this position plays a critical role in the oversight of all phases of design and construction (through close-out) of a varied portfolio of facilities-related capital projects. Typically have a budget ranging from $10,000 to $500,000. This position will maintain and implement the ABRSD Capital Improvement Plan. The employee will make frequent public presentations and should be comfortable leading meetings and speaking in front of large groups of people. The incumbent will assist the Director of School Operations in other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Design, Engineering, Project Management, or related field required. Masters Degree preferred. Excellent communication skills and public purchasing experience a plus. Organizational skills and experience with Microsoft Office required. Architectural and/or Engineering experience preferred. MCPPO certification or ability to obtain a certification within first 12 months of employment is a requirement. Knowledge of municipal permitting and purchasing preferred.
