    The Town of Natick seeks qualified applicants for the position of Custodial Supervisor. This position is full-time, exempt, and includes benefits. The hours for this position are
    Monday – Friday 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM with occasional event support or emergencies that may arise.

    The Custodial Supervisor is responsible for overseeing custodial operations, including cleaning, maintenance, and staff management, in partnership with key stakeholders
    such as principals, building managers, and the facilities team. Additionally, this position will lead the troubleshooting of maintenance issues and respond to urgent situations,
    including but not limited to fire alarms and water leaks. Oversight of budgets, inventory, and labor in the maintenance of Natick’s building infrastructure is also required.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
    ● Must be able to work assignments from oral and written instructions.
    ● Works in support of other department trades, and performs other duties as required.
    ● May occasionally be required to supervise and guide less experienced employees or student workers. Maintain records, stock lists and department inventory
    ● Maintains safe workplace and follows necessary safety requirements of the Town.
    ● Works under the direction of the Facilities Manager and Director of Facilities to ensure that the needs of the Town are met in a professional and timely manner
    ● Basic computer skills such as e-mail, web searches, and ability to learn new applications. Work order processing through a maintenance management system. Building management systems
    (BMS), security systems, door access systems.
    ● Must exhibit and maintain a customer service focus. Works in partnership with various Town departments.
    ● Must be available to work overtime as needed for after hours call-in and be available in support of Town events or emergencies as needed
    ● Works as part of a snow removal team, experience plowing preferred
    ● Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements:
    ● High school graduate additional education and training in supervision or related fields is desirable.
    ● Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a custodial or maintenance field.
    ● Must have a minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory role, ideally in a union environment.
    ● Must possess a thorough working knowledge of state building codes
    ● Familiar with OSHA standards
    ● Must be willing to advance trade knowledge and/or skill level through continuing education when required. Must attend required safety and equipment training
    ● Must have a valid Class D driver’s license
    ● Possesses a Construction Supervisor’s license, EPA certification, or other similar qualifications
    ● Experience with building management systems (BMS), card access, door systems, security systems, roofing, windows, and other building systems

    educational assistance program along with medical and dental insurances and more. The hiring range $65,000 – $75,000, is commensurate with education and experience.
