<u>HVAC/R Technician</u>

<u>Position Purpose/Function:</u>

Under the direction of the Director of Building Facilities the HVAC/R Technician is responsible for corrective maintenance, new and renovated installations, and preventive maintenance of all building systems.  Assist all trades within the Facilities Department to provide quality and time efficient corrective/preventive maintenance, projects and repairs in an orderly fashion to benefit Woburn Public Schools.

<u>Minimum Required Qualifications:</u>

H.S. diploma or equivalent

Five (5) years of experience in the heating, ventilation & air conditioning, refrigeration trade.

Possess a Valid State Driver’s License required.

Possess Massachusetts Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning License.

Preference will be giving to a candidate possessing a Massachusetts Journeyman’s Electrical or Plumber’s license.

Knowledge and ability to demonstrate techniques of using maintenance tools, repairing machinery and providing preventive maintenance.

Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.

Good oral & written communications skills.
