Manager of Custodial Services

Andover Public Schools seeks applications for a Manager of Custodial Services to
supervise the activities of maintenance and custodial staff, ensuring that they meet
established guidelines for clean and safe building environments throughout the district.
Duties include oversight of employees such as hiring, instruction, and evaluations; as
well as enforcement of district rules and policies regarding employee conduct. In addition
to personnel supervision, the custodial supervisor will also manage the building alarms
systems; evaluate school physical and mechanical needs, including school grounds and
exterior needs; and work with the Facilities Coordinator to schedule after-hours events
and school uses.

Duties require previous facilities, custodial or maintenance experience, experience
supervising team members distributed across multiple locations, as well as an excellent
work record. Union contract experience preferred. Permanent contract appointment
subject to provisions of individual contract. Salary: $80K-$95K, commensurate with
experience.
