    Due to a retirement, the Town of Wellesley’s Facilities Management Department (FMD) seeks highly qualified candidates to be our new Custodial Service Manager. This is an opportunity to join one of the top municipal facilities organizations in the area. In 2018, the Town received a national green cleaning award in recognition of its outstanding custodial group!

    The Custodial Service Manager manages over fifty custodians working in schools and municipal buildings, and is responsible for all aspects of custodial service including quality control, training, equipment/supplies and professional development of staff.  We are looking for outstanding candidates who can continue this excellence, and are able to work in a fast-paced, team environment and possess excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills.

    Minimum Requirements:  Associate’s Degree in Facilities Management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Computer skills including word processing, maintenance work order systems and spreadsheets.  Five years of custodial supervision experience, with preference for school or public sector experience. Anticipated hiring range is $90,000 – $102,000.
