The Massachusetts Facilities Administrators Association, MFAA, wants you to “SAVE THE DATE” for our Annual MFAA Fall Conference/EXPO!!! This year’s event is moving west and will be held at UMASS Amherst Hotel and Conference Center on Thursday, September 22nd, 2016.

We are a community of more than 180 facility directors that provide services for municipal and public K-12 schools in Massachusetts. Our organization has been providing support, networking, and professional development opportunities to members and is now entering its 42nd year. Through the sharing of knowledge and resources, we are able to improve the performance and extend the life of our public facilities. Our members take great pride in providing a safe, healthy, and sustainable learning environment for the staff and students who daily use the buildings that we maintain.

We are also currently working with the Massachusetts Higher Ed Consortium (MHEC) and the Rhode Island Association of School Maintenance Directors (RIASMD) and Massachusetts Association of School Business Officials (MASBO) to increase the number of attendees and make this the premier event for all Southern New England Facilities Professionals. Last year’s event we had close to 100 attendees and we hope to be well over 150 this year.

Our event is a little different than most trade shows. We want you to be part of the entire day, not just stand at a booth all day while the attendees are in sessions. After you booth is set up we encourage you to take advantage of one of our many professional development sessions. Spend the morning with us and see the world through our lens. Then, we all have lunch together which gives you time to sit and chat with some of our members, we then hear the keynote address, together, at which point we will officially open the EXPO floor in the afternoon for 2-1/2 to 3 hrs. The EXPO wraps up at 4:30pm and the lobby area of the EXPO will be converted into a cocktail/refreshment event for all of us to enjoy each other’s company after a great day of learning and enrichment. Each booth will be given 4 complimentary beverage tickets as part of your registration. More tickets are available for purchase upon request.

Standard booth rates for this year’s event are as follows: (2-two representatives per booth; additional representatives can register at a rate of $65 per person)
