We have waited long enough to be back in person for the Annual MFAA Fall Conference. Well…. it is here and we are so excited to see everyone. We have been waiting to post the registration to make sure everything was going to work… and it will!!!! Don’t miss out on this amazing three day event held at the Resort and Conference Center in Hyannis.
COVID Precautions we will be taking:
- mask are required while inside any of the venues as part of our event
- MFAA is working with several of our vendor/sponsors to add additional air filters/scrubber units at the Conference Center to increase air exchange in all rooms
- we have reduced the number of booths this year to allow for more space and less people on the event floor
Schedule at a Glance:
Tuesday Nov. 16th (Pre-Conference)
9am to noon: Cape Cod Gun Works for both breakout session training and live firearm demonstration/shooting
12:30 to 4:00 pm: Cape Cod Regional Vocational Technical HS (Jack McCarthy updates from MSBA and Matt Deninger ESSR Funding Updates from DESE) with Facility Tour
5pm: vendor attendee reception at Resort and Conference Center Hyannis
Wednesday Nov. 17th (Conference EXPO)
Day spent with 4 concurrent professional development tracks (Leadership/M&O/Procurement/Bldg. Design), our amazing EXPO with vendor/partners that support public facility maintenance in MA, Keynote Speaker, Banquet Dinner with surprise entertainment fun…
Thursday Nov. 18th (General Session)
1/2 Day session will be general sessions covering Leadership, HVAC planning, and understanding struggles facing our students

There is a block of discounted rooms reserved for the MFAA. Make sure when you call to reserve your room you say you are with the MFAA Conference to get the reduced rate of $120 per night.
(The above rate is per room, per night, for the run of house guestrooms, plus current 11.7% Massachusetts Rooms Occupancy Tax, which is subject to change. For triple occupancy, please add $20.00 per room/per night, quad occupancy $40.00 per room/per night to the above rate, plus MA room’s occupancy tax. Children under the age of 16 stay free in the same room with parents utilizing the existing bedding; cots are available at $15.00 plus tax, per night. Room attendant and bellmen gratuities are not included.)
