As school administrators, we often get caught up in the myriad of immediate tasks that need to be completed to keep our districts moving forward. This, compounded with working in our current do more with less industry, can make it easy to lose sight of how much of an impact our decisions may have on our special education population in our schools.
This presentation is designed to raise awareness of some of the physical and learning needs of children and staff with special needs. While it is impossible to cover every aspect of special education, we hope to provide an overview of some key areas and connect it to how you can help support success in your schools.
Our goal is for attendees to experience something powerful and leave with a better understanding on how to accomplish daily tasks with a focus on supporting these amazing children and colleagues.
